Samyang Roundsquare
It primarily focuses on roles as a control tower for establishing and managing the group's integrated brand strategy and discovering new growth engines for future vision.
Initially launched as Samyang Agricultural Products in February 1975, the name was changed to Samyang Agricultural and Fisheries in 1981, followed by Samyang Naturals in 2017, and most recently to Samyang Roundsquare in July 2023. Since introducing the holding company structure in 2021, it has been fulfilling the role of the group's control tower. To actively support its subsidiaries, which are recording strong performance annually, Samyang Roundsquare formally commenced its operations as a holding company early last year and launched a central research center for discovering new growth engines and a brand strategy division for integrated corporate brand management. Currently, it operates Samyang Squarelab, the central research center under the holding company. It is focusing on the bio and health-functional food sectors as new business areas, expanding the recruitment of specialized personnel, and strengthening research capabilities in related technologies. Additionally, it is responsible for undertaking a company-wide CI renewal and establishing and executing an integrated brand management system for the group. Going forward, Samyang Roundsquare plans to establish a new forward-looking corporate identity in line with the rapid growth of the group. It will execute a company-wide business strategy in alignment with this identity, diversify the business portfolio at the group level, and accelerate the global framework to actively support its subsidiaries.
